Soulless body

Recently my dog Jojo left this earth.

He was 19yrs old.

Almost a year a part from his daughter Coco's passing, he left.

His passing has taught me a lot;

I think every living thing has a time set to expire.

We are all souls experiencing life.

What makes difficult to care for a living things who is getting ready to leave this earth is unknown.

Unknown of when,

Unknown of how and

Unknown how they go and what we will going to feel after they leave.

And our bodies are merely shells.

Protective coverings for our spirit.

Moves our soul to experience life so we all can give a meaning to our life.

When I saw Jojo's soul left his body, something was different.

A second I saw his body, I knew he left.

Left quite and alone.

His body turned to an empty shell.

His body felt cold (without touching him).

His body has no aliveness.

That day he passed, I had an appointment with vet to discuss his condition.

I just wanted to hear from doctor that he is not in pain or any discomfort.

But also depending on his condition, I was gonna ask them to put him to sleep.

He came a long way as a chihuahua at this point of life.

He hasn't eaten in last two days and that morning, his body started to show as if he is searching for air and seemed his body was shutting down. He barely drunk water but still drinking.

So I kept him at home.

I was preparing my mind that he will be get going soon.

Today or maybe tomorrow.

And around 6pm he left.

When my husband passed, his body acted similar.

like a broken down machine.

That morning, I knew he will gonna leave, his soul was gonna leave his body.

And when he left, I saw same.

His body turned to a shell.

His body felt cold (without touching him).

the machine has stopped working.

Loss of our loved ones has taught me to live in

full everyday.

Do what's excite you everyday.
